The Care Finders Story
Care Finders, Inc. was founded in 1995 by Paulina Likhachev, a local Bergen County social worker who saw first hand the need for quality home care in her community.
For close to a decade, Paulina worked at United Jewish Federation of Bergen County resettling immigrants who had fled the Former Soviet Union in search of a better life.
"Many of them had been doctors, scientists and engineers - all highly skilled workers who because of their age or language barrier could not get jobs in their fields. As an immigrant, I understood the difficulties they faced finding work. I knew my job was to help them."
At the same time, Paulina recognized the demand for caring, compassionate and trustworthy certified home care aides who could meet the needs of a growing senior population.
"That's how Care Finders was founded, as a community service."
Today, Care Finders, Inc. trains and employs Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) of all backgrounds, and nationalities, most of whom are bilingual.
Whether your spoken language is English, Spanish, Russian, Korean, Polish, Yiddish, Thai or French, we have a Certified Home Health Aide to meet you cultural needs.
"Because at Care Finders, we understand that language and religious customs should never be a barrier to receiving high-quality personalized care".
